The Champions are looking for you …
The Opportunity:
The Champions are looking for enthusiastic young people between 19-25 to provide personal guidance to young people between 16-19 in the South East region. This fantastic volunteer opportunity will lead you to inspire, motivate and help other young people back onto the path of education, employment or training.
Being a Champion Motivator will involve you dedicating a small amount of your time. You will gain hands on experience with young people to offer support once a week through a drop in session organised by your Regional Co-ordinator. We will also pay your transport costs!
The Skills:
No experience is necessary. You will undertake a 6 day accredited training programme to provide you with the skills required in your new role.You will have constant support throughout and will receive a free CRB check. Training dates for February are available on request.
The Time Commitment:
You will be asked to give 2 hours a week for a minimum of 3 months, but the programme lasts for 2 years, so you could volunteer for the whole length of the programme. So if you are aged between 19-25 and want to taste test a new career path then this is the opportunity for you! Wage/Salary – N/a This is a Voluntary role
